Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

The short version: We don’t run analytics, advertising, or tracking on this website, and we never sell or share your information for marketing. The only personal data we collect is what we need to sell you a license and deliver it — primarily the email address PayPal gives us when you buy, so we can send you your license key.

This policy explains how MicroPros — the software business operated by GNC Wholesale, LLC (“MicroPros”, “we”, “us”) — handles personal information on micropros.net and when you purchase a license for our software, SwanDesk ITSM. By using this site or buying from us, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

When you buy a license

Purchases are processed by PayPal. We do not see or store your full card or bank details — PayPal handles the payment. After a successful purchase, PayPal provides us with the information needed to fulfill your order, including your email address, your name, the Company / Site name you entered at checkout, and the transaction amount and ID.

We use that to generate your license key and email it to you, and we keep a record of the sale — your email, name, the edition purchased, the license key, and the date — in our licensing database so we can deliver the key, provide support, and manage renewals. A copy of the license email is also archived to our own internal mailbox as a sales record.

When you contact us

If you email us (for example, at [email protected]), we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we retain that correspondence to help you and keep support records.

When you visit the site

Like virtually all websites, our server keeps standard technical logs of requests — IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamps, and the pages requested — which we use to operate and secure the site and troubleshoot problems. We do not use these logs to build profiles or track you across sites.

2. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and we do not embed third-party trackers. Fonts are served from our own server, so viewing our pages does not send your data to a font or CDN provider.

3. How we use your information

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK — GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to deliver the license you purchased and provide support); legal obligation (to keep accounting and tax records); and our legitimate interests (to secure and operate the site and maintain business records), balanced against your rights.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the providers that make our business run, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if required by law. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Where your data is processed

Our servers are located in the United States (Washington state). If you are in the EEA or the UK, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States; we make such transfers only where necessary to provide the service you have requested — for example, to deliver the license you purchased. PayPal may process payment data in other countries under its own safeguards.

7. How long we keep it

We keep sale and license records for as long as you hold a license and for the period we are required to retain financial records under applicable law (typically several years), after which they are deleted or anonymized. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and operations. Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you and for reasonable record-keeping.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on it. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request access or deletion, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information — note that we do not sell or share it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] and we’ll respond within the timeframe the law requires.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Our site and products are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be noted here.
